The Norma Jean

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz Cynar
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Handful of mint

Smack/clap the handful of mint and add to your shaker. No need for muddling.

Shake with ice and strain into a collins glass with crushed ice.

Garnish with mint and a lemon wheel.

Recipe invented by Los Angeles’ own Vincenzo Marianella at Santa Monica’s Copa d’Oro.

This drink is a huge hit at Post Prohibition’s Libation Lounge in the summer months. Frequent favorite of the infamous Steve Blair, Baltimore film maker.
