Original Recipe No. 52 —

The Conception

magellan maple
  • 2 oz Magellan Blue Gin
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup
  • 2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
  • 3 dashes of Post Prohibition orange bitters
  • Caol Ila rinse
  • Garnish with a cherry and star anise

Coat the inside of a rocks glass with Caol Ila and discard the excess and then add ice. In a mixing glass add your ingredients and ice, then stir. Strain your cocktail from your mixing glass into the rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry and a star anise.
