Original Recipe No. 52 —

The Conception

magellan maple
  • 2 oz Mag­el­lan Blue Gin
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup
  • 2 dash­es of Pey­chaud’s bitters
  • 3 dash­es of Post Pro­hi­bi­tion orange bitters
  • Caol Ila rinse
  • Gar­nish with a cher­ry and star anise

Coat the inside of a rocks glass with Caol Ila and dis­card the excess and then add ice. In a mix­ing glass add your ingre­di­ents and ice, then stir. Strain your cock­tail from your mix­ing glass into the rocks glass. Gar­nish with a cher­ry and a star anise.
